Why I'm running
Back in 2020, when Covid-19 first showed up on the scene, I found myself in Afghanistan with the United States Army. What I observed going on in the good ol' USA from half a world away, made me sick. It was there that I got the first inclination that my country might need my services in a very different way than a combat deployment.
The United States of America's founding documents are, in my humble opinion, the most beautiful and important words ever written outside of the Holy Bible. Unfortunately, after years, perhaps generations, of neglect, our founding documents are being almost universally ignored. The very important truth, that no one wants to say out loud, is that if we wish to save our republic, it will require a steady march back toward the limited Federal government described in the US Constitution. (This is one of those things that is not directly tied to a political party, it benefits everyone with the exception of Federal employees, to shrink the Federal government back to its intended size. What works in New Hampshire simply might not work in California, and vice versa. That is alright.)
That of course, by its nature, cannot be done by just one state, but if New Hampshire is to do her part, we need a reluctant leader. The kind of politician that has ABSOLUTELY no interest in being a politician, and therefore no interest in expanding his own power and influence (or wallet). Only two kinds of people enter politics, narcissistic sociopaths that want money and power, and people with a profound sense of duty (I'd like to think that I am the latter).
It is important for me to note that I am a Christian. That is something that many politicians, and indeed people say, without really knowing the implications of it. For practical political purposes for those that are not religiously inclined, the most important distinction about a Christian is that he cannot be the hero of his own story. Anything good in his life he only has because he has borrowed it from God. I am very far from perfect, and if you are looking for a politician that pretends that they are, I am not your man, what I will give you is an honest assessment of what this nation needs, and how I intend to help steer it in that direction.
So, as a last ditch effort, my final offer of assistance to my nation, I am very reluctantly running for senate, not because I have a lot of political experience or because I want to, but precisely because I do not have any political experience and do not want to. I have chosen to run as a Republican because the Republicans seem to at least have perhaps read the Constitution, and while I respect the party in general, it desperately needs some youth. I could probably be described as a "Ron Paul Republican," and I would not shy away from that as a description.
The truth is that Maggie Hassan very obviously does not at all represent the people of the State of New Hampshire, and she certainly does not care about the US Constitution or the divine rights of men, so, we would be better off with a sack of potatoes in the senate than her, but, I think that I can represent the people of the state well, and fight for NH and small states like it everyday against an out of control Federal government.
So, I am running. Statistically, it is a long shot, I am not politically well connected, nor am I amazingly articulate, nor am I much of a people person. However, I hope that at a minimum, I can serve as some sort of a warning about the impending trouble this nation is in, and that that helps someone along the way.

So it's on us to do what we gotta do to survive..."
